Wellness Chiropractic

As a Wellness Chiropractor, I have a holistic approach to helping you with your issue. Taking in to account not just the physical, but the mental, emotional and social also.

We know that chronic stress and trauma can manifest in the body as muscle tension, joint restriction and chronic pain.

So we will delve into the ‘why’ of what is creating the issue for you, and together we will try and come up with a solution to get you the best results.

Not only through Chiropractic adjustments and Attunements, but through subtle changes in your lifestyle.

The aim, is to create balance and harmony within your body and nervous system, to promote ultimate health & wellness.

My Chiropractic career & the techniques I use to get you well.

I developed a ‘bad back’ myself during my late teens, which worsened when I started working as a care assistant in 2006. I put it down to poor posture combined with heavy lifting at work. Looking back now I have come to understand that it was so much more than that. I have a long history of depression and anxiety, alongside being a chronic over thinker/people pleaser, which I now believe to be the more deep rooted cause of all my issues.

Why am I telling you this? I am telling you this so that you can start to understand that that causes of pain and injury are so multifaceted, that we simply cannot just look at the physical alone.

So after seeking Chiropractic treatment for my back issue that was impacting my life fairly significantly, I embarked on a Master of Degree at the University of South Wales. I graduated with a Distinction in 2012, and since then I have dedicated my professional career to helping others with similar problems.

My style of practice has changed throughout the years. In my early career, I would say much of my practice focused on the physical element of someone’s pain. But as time has gone on, through experience and wisdom, my focus has shifted to look at the body more holistically. Looking at all elements of someone’s history.

  • Stress – levels and management techniques
  • Quality of your sleep
  • Quality of your diet
  • Quality of your relationships
  • Work/life balance
  • Job satisfaction
  • Significant history of emotional/physical trauma

Over the past 12 years I have enhanced my skills, not only manually, but also communicatively, spiritually and in my knowledge and application of rehabilitation. I now use a combination of the following treatment techniques to aid in your wellness journey. But remember, this is a partnership. Together we will come up with a plan to get you well, which will involve commitments from myself inside the treatment room and commitments from yourself outside the treatment room.

  • Network Spinal Chiropractic
  • Diversified Chiropractic
  • Activator Technique
  • Gentle Soft Tissue Release
  • Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS)
  • Health Coaching
