I didn’t truly understand what “Yoga is a lifestyle” meant until I went to Rishikesh, India, the birthplace of Yoga itself. That’s where I realised that Yoga is so much more than the poses we often see.
In today’s world, we tend to think of Yoga as just a series of stretches or fancy poses, often striving for more flexibility. But Yoga is much deeper, it’s a way of life, a mindset that extends far beyond what we do on the mat.
Yoga is about connecting to your true self, letting go of the ego, and embracing who you really are. It’s about making intentional choices every day to become the best version of yourself and staying present in everything you do.


These choices shape every part of our lives:
- What you choose to nourish your body with
- The thoughts you allow into your mind, about yourself and others
- The way you show up in your daily life, in your interactions and in how you treat yourself
- The practices you engage in, like asana (yoga poses), meditation, and breathwork, all of which help you become more aware, balanced, and at peace.
As a 200-Hour Yoga TTC Certified Instructor, I don’t just use yogic postures within my treatments to help you connect with your mind and body. I guide you through the deeper understanding of Yoga, helping you tap into its wisdom to live a healthier, happier, and more fulfilling life, on and off the mat.
