Yogic Lifestyle & Meditation

Yogic Lifestyle & Meditation

I never truly understood what ‘Yoga is a lifestyle’ meant until I travelled to Rishikesh, India, the heart and soul of Yoga itself.

What most of us understand as being ‘Yoga’ in modern day life is simply doing some movements, holding some positions and trying to become as bendy as possible. However, Yoga is SO much more than this.

Yoga is a way of connecting with your true ‘self’ and leaving behind your ego. It’s about becoming the best version of yourself through the choices you make on a daily basis and trying to be as present as possible in everything that you do.

These choices include the food you eat, the thoughts that you allow to enter your mind about yourself and others, the behaviours you exhibit in your every day life towards yourself and others, and the practices you choose to implement in to your life such as asanas, meditation & breath work, in order to reach higher self awareness and lead a more blissful life.

As a 200 Hour Yoga TTC instructor, not only do I teach the practice of asana training (physical & online classes coming soon), but I also try to utilise the greater meaning behind Yoga itself to help you to live a healthier, happier and more fulfilled life.
